4 Da Sip 6: Camouflage

After making the move to Las Vegas I never realized how much I love and miss trees. Yes trees. Big oak trees, Pine trees, and Magnolia trees. Vegas is beautiful in its own way, but it’s a different kind of beauty. The desert is filled with mountains, rocks, and cacti. Plush greenery is not something that you see every day.

In Mississippi nothing compares to when Summer turns into Fall, and Fall turns into Winter. The trees’ beautiful green leaves turn into different shades of orange, yellow, and brown. The way Nature changes in the South is something I’ve always loved, but never fully appreciated until now.

With Edition 6 of 4 Da Sip I wanted to illustrate Mississippi’s changing seasons by introducing Real tree Camo.

Camouflage is more than a pattern in the South. It’s almost a color of its own. Not only is it worn for hunting, but you’ll find it everywhere. At football games, family cookouts, and grocery stores. It’s literally woven into Southern culture.
